The Ukrainian-American Community Foundation Inc., a cornerstone of support for the Ukrainian community in the United States, has recently announced its heartfelt participation in the Christmas Prayer Benefit Service held in Vancouver. This event, resonating with the spirit of the festive season, emphasizes the solidarity and cultural richness within the Ukrainian community.
Tamara Denysenko, President of the Ukrainian-American Community Foundation Inc., expressed deep gratitude for the invitation to join the Christmas Prayer and to celebrate, sing, and pray together for Ukraine. Although unable to attend in person, the Foundation’s presence was felt through its message of unity and support.
In a heartfelt letter, Tamara Denysenko conveyed greetings for the New Year 2015 and the joyous Christmas holiday. The Foundation extends its warm wishes for prosperity, health, happiness, family comfort, and spiritual warmth to all Ukrainian churches, community, cultural, business organizations, sports groups, and schools of Ukrainian studies.
Marking this occasion, the Ukrainian-American Community Foundation has generously donated $500 for humanitarian aid to support Ukraine, emphasizing its commitment to the welfare of the Ukrainian people and culture. Additional personal donations from prominent members of the Foundation, including Volodymyr and Tamara Denysenko, Wasyl Kornylo, and Barbara Gutierrez, further underline the community’s united efforts.
This significant contribution reflects the Foundation’s ongoing dedication to promoting Ukrainian culture, heritage, and welfare, aligning seamlessly with the mission of the Ukrainian-American Cultural Association of North-West.
